After 13 years in Silicon Valley, management consulting, and investment banking, I founded ArsChitectura to bring innovative Data Science to every client's unique business challenge.

Why ArsChitectura

After co-founding a startup in Silicon Valley, working as a quantitative consultant at McKinsey, directing the €70 million data transformation program at Société Générale, and cleaning up traders' control systems after the largest trading fraud in history, I spent far more time in organizational meetings than doing the work that had drawn me to this field: mathematics. Meanwhile, colleagues in e-commerce and ad tech were experimenting with the latest machine-learning techniques from Google and the real-time web - innovations large corporate environments still have not adopted.

In 2011, I stepped away to refocus on this opportunity. The idea behind ArsChitectura was simple: combine deep mathematical expertise with the business and program-management experience I had accumulated, and offer that combination directly to companies tackling hard problems on large-scale data. The first client fell through before I started. Two new engagements arrived almost immediately, and the practice has grown from there.

What I have built is a bridge: I can sit with a leadership team, understand the business stakes, and shape a top-down AI strategy, then design and deliver the mathematical solutions that bring it to life - whether that calls for a fully transparent model that regulators can audit, or a high-performance system serving hundreds of thousands of predictions per second. No single AI approach fits every problem, and knowing how to align business strategy, technical choices, and implementation with each situation is a skill I have built across very different industries.
